Certifications Phase 2: Other issues!

After a brief overview dissimilarities between the various certifications is the time to address other aspects that should be considered in anticipation of buying cruelty-free. In fact have already been discussed several times here on the blog, but never all together simultaneously. For convenience I divide everything into three main points:

  • There are, however, that certified companies are part of other companies and / or corporations that are not as cruelty-free, or even worse, it encourages the vivisection in a direct and concrete .
  • There are others that also produce a range of drugs, and we all know that the category for that animal tests are required by law.
  • Still others give in charity to those who practice and / or support vivisection, although in fact, have joined the "Standard of the non-tested" for their products.
So what can we do to have a clear idea about it? Well, first you should try to learn more and to 360 °, but remaining on the cruelty-free certification in practice we see what information we have about it. On some official lists are reported by other companies Related opposite of ethics, and is already a good starting point, but still are very few. For example on mini
downloadable guide BUAV of 2010 are marked with a square (February 17th edition was released in 2011 and find a different symbol), listed on the site invece tale specifica al momento ancora non c'è:

Sulla lista USA visionabile direttamente sul sito CCIC troviamo sempre un quadratino, ma questa volta di colore rosa:

In base a ciò, parlando di storia nota anche senza andare a cercare il  "quadratino", acquistando da The Body Shop  e/o  Sanoflore che sono state acquisite da l'Oréal, sappiamo subito che i  nostri soldi andranno anche nelle tasche dei vivisettori che sperimentano il Botox area.

With Naturewatch and CCF, however, do not search for specific symbols because companies do not approve of that type .. that belong to other (also in the cosmetics industry) which are not as cruelty -free.

As for any drug lines, at the time that I know with certainty there are only Weleda and Dr.Hauschka to produce one of anthroposophic medicines, and both companies are approved for cosmetic Naturewatch , inter alia, of excellent quality. But of course there could be others .. I do not know anyone who has info in this regard please me Alerts!

Turning finally to the questionable charity, in principle, just check the manufacturers' websites because usually when warn proudly donate to some particular cause, then you do not know if the benefactor in question takes a check. The network now have access to a lot of information so it's not a big problem. Sometimes companies make their specific products to support this cause, or would choose one already in the catalog as an association, and the consumer with the purchase would then support it.
Here are some examples to give a better idea: the case Montagne Jeunesse , that The Provence , and to quote something of doubt, the case Hedera Natur .

At this point it is logical to ask: How would behave better in such situations? I honestly do not think there is an absolute right or wrong answer, on some occasions you can choose the "best" and other times you may opt for the lesser evil .. Anyway, I just wanted to point out the facts on which everyone must think for themselves, simple food for thought in more!
